Aims and Objectives
Peregrine House has been in the same ownership since 1995 and the management team prides itself on offering a highly professional care service for the elderly with physical infirmity and with mild to moderate early dementia, with a personal touch. We are pleased to accept residents for long term and short term, for convalescence and holiday stays
Over the years it has been apparent that some residents at Peregrine House have, over time, developed some confusion and lapses of memory and the management and staff have the skills to continue to address their increasing needs, as these problems increase. It has been the policy of the home that Peregrine House is the home of those that live here and all needs are met as they arise.
In the case of tendency to disruptive behaviour by a resident this approach has to be modified, for the protection of the sufferer, other residents and members of staff. In these circumstances, multi-disciplinary meetings are convened with the resident, doctors, nurses, social workers, home staff and where possible the relatives of the resident to agree the best way forward for the benefit of all concerned.
