Outings:
Residents are encouraged to go out for walks and to the local shops and post office if they so wish and are sufficiently able. If a carer is needed for assistance of any description in this activity, then one can generally be made available.
In summer and at Christmas outings are by a hired coach with disabled access and are suited to client's needs and capabilities. Staffs always accompany the residents on these outings which are often oversubscribed.
Activities with Staff: (On a daily basis)
Chatting with individual residents, going for walks, manicures, playing games, armchair exercises, reading magazines, books, newspapers etc. Helping to choose library books, music and sing-alongs maintaining life long hobbies such as jigsaws, crossword puzzles etc.
