In the summer months and again at Christmas bus trips are organised, out into the countryside with stops for refreshments in summer and to enjoy the Christmas lights in the town in December.

Singers, theatre groups and other entertainers visit the home, some weekly, and we celebrate everyone’s birthday with a present from the Home, special birthday cakes and a get together.

Returning to Christmas, every Wednesday in December we put on a Christmas dinner and invite resident’s relatives to take a meal with their loved one.
